The Nusantara Prima project is a joint venture between UEM Land Holdings Bhd as the landowner and Denia Development as the developer. The PR1MA project at Nusantara Prima consists of 201 units of affordable homes situated on 16-acre of lands in Nusantara Prima, Nusajaya which has been gazetted as part of the Government’s PR1MA initiative

Nusantara Prima homes will have a starting price of RM199,000 for an intermediate unit. Applications for such homes were opened to the public yesterday.
PR1MA Nusantara Prima House Type
There at 2 types of units are available in Nusantara Prima :
- Type 2A consists of 94 units of 2 storey terrace house (1384 sqft)
- Type 2C consists of 107 units of 2 storey terrace house (1392 sqft).
The development will feature two types of four-room two-storey terrace homes that measure 18 ft x 65 ft.
Completion Date
The Nusantara Prima is targeted to be completed in 2016.

10 PR1MA sites for Penang
GEORGE TOWN: The Government has identified 10 locations here for its Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) affordable urban housing programme.
PR1MA Berhad’s chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias said the residential units would be built in Bukit Gelugor next year.
He said the “secure, 30-storey lifestyle condominiums” would be built on three plots of land measuring a total of 8ha as part of a mixed development project.
He said that PR1MA would adhere strictly to the local council’s density and plot ratio.
Due to land scarcity, the new planning features will include sky gardens.
“Some 20% of the leasehold project will comprise commercial units.
“This is a very nice area it will be the Bangsar of Penang.
“The surrounding projects are priced between RM520 and RM600 per sq ft PR1MA homes will definitely cost much less but let’s wait for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to announce the price and details,” he said here yesterday.
Nine other project sites have been identified on the island and mainland pending a final decision from the Government.
“We are only looking at Federal Government-owned land here as well as plots owned by Perda and JKP Sdn Bhd.
“Some projects on the mainland may even be landed property,” he said.
He said PR1MA was unique because it is both a quasi-regulator and a developer.
PR1MA information and communications technology vice-president Noorul Amilin Mohd Daud said some 2.5 million Malaysians are expected to participate in the online registration for the 80,000 PR1MA homes to be built in 50 cities and towns nationwide once launched by Najib here today.
Abdul Mutalib said everything would be done online, including the submission of documents.

Great news for all Malaysian and the online registration for 80,000 affordable homes to be built in 50 cities and towns under the Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) will be officially launched in Penang on Saturday.
Those who qualified to apply for PR1MA will be able to take part in the balloting of the houses which will be built at the cost of about RM10bil over the next three years. PR1MA will develop 50,000 homes while the additional 30,000 would be built through collaboration with established private developers.
The registration will be used as an official application for PR1MA homes where the applicant’s eligibility is determined and screened. The system gathers information on demand for houses, future housing needs, types of homes required, applicants’ profiles, income levels and affordability.
How To apply PR1MA ?
- To register, applicants must check their eligibility criteria, and if eligible, they are required to submit their employer verification letter, scanned EA or B form, scanned Employees Provident Fund statement, bank statement and salary slip online.
- Next, they will have to key in their particulars and fill up a questionnaire.
- They will be given a registration number that will be used for correspondence with PR1MA.
- Registered applicants will be notified if houses of their choice are launched and they can submit an application for balloting.
All applications will stand an equal chance of being selected. The balloting will be transparent and we have external auditors to monitor it. Successful balloted numbers will be listed on PR1MA’s website and balloters will be informed via email and SMS.
Applicants must be Malaysians aged above 21 and who do not own more than one home and are working or living in the area where the project is being developed. All applicants could list five areas of choice of locations, adding that they would be alerted of PR1MA projects coming up for balloting via e-mail or SMS.

5000 Perumahan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (PR1MA) in Seremban
Datuk Seri Najib Razak today announced the construction of 5,000 homes under the Perumahan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (PR1MA) initiative in Seremban, The Star Online reported today — in what is seen as a bid to drum up urban voter support in the hotly-contested Negri Sembilan that the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) opposition believe is ripe for their plucking at national polls due soon.
The news portal added that the housing units would be located in Seremban 2, Rasah and Senawang, and that priority would be given to households with an income of between RM2,500 and RM7,500.
The prime minister (picture) said the units will be jointly built by PR1MA and the state government over the next two years.
The Star also reported that the houses would have a minimum size of 234 square metres (sq m) and depending on the location, would be priced between RM150,000 and RM300,000, which was 20 to 30 per cent less than that of the market price.
